Activity: Set Your Plan

Activity: Set Your Plan

I'm going to keep it short and sweet today (just to get you started!)

Today, we're going to make a plan of action because a) I truly desire to help you start moving towards the Lord in this study--let's not wait! and b) I don't want you to be left feeling guilty that you signed up and didn't finish. =)

If you're a disciplined person, feel free to plan as you wish. But if you struggle, here are a few things to think about.

Preliminary questions:

  1. How deeply do you want to cover this course?
  2. Overview--you may skip the activities if you just want to get the big picture but I'd return to them later.
  3. Depth--with activities.
  4. How much time do you have in this season?
  5. More time
  6. Less time

Based on these:

  • If have the time, and want an overview, I suggest planning 10-15 minutes over 10 days to review the lessons.
  • If you have the time and want to go deep, I suggest planning 30 minutes over 10 days to both listen and work through the activities.
  • If you are busy and want an overview, I suggest blocking out 2 hours on one day to review the lessons.
  • If you are busy but want to go in depth, I suggest blocking out 4-5 hours on one day to listen to all the lessons and go through the activities.

Action(s):

  • Take out your calendar (on your phone, paper, whatever) and mark down both the date and time you will work on the lesson.
  • If you tend to forget, you may also wish to set yourself an alarm reminder.
  • Check "Complete and Continue"! You're done for today!
